Chiboki: Kintsugi Mooncake

Authentic Choboki, curated by Smushberry. We chose to name it Kintsugi Mooncake, inspired by the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold—a perfect nod to its beautiful porcelain-blue clay, golden-yellow pieces, and delicate crackly texture.

Inside, soft clay surrounds golden-yellow blocks and ice sticks that create a satisfying light, crispy crunch with every squeeze. The pieces shift and crackle through the clay, giving it just enough texture and resistance without being an intense crunch.

This one feels especially good cold, 15 min in the refrigerator is magical! The chilled clay becomes slightly firmer and makes the light, crispy texture even more satisfying to slowly press and squeeze.

This squishy contains textured pieces. Always squeeze slowly and gently. Do not pull, pinch, twist, or dig into the skin, as concentrated pressure against the textured pieces can damage the skin or weaken the seal around the plug.

❄️ CARE NOTE:
Please do not leave it in a hot car. While heat does not typically affect the glue Choboki uses, prolonged heat can significantly soften this particular clay and change its intended texture. I Learned this the hard way and was devastated 😭
