Truffle Shuffle- Small Batch!

I’ve made a terrible decision. You’re going to love it. 😂

Please read this one all the way through. It gets progressively more unhinged. 😜

Truffle Shuffle starts as a thicker clay and slowly melts as you play into an ooey, gooey, crispy mess trapped inside a ball—all the satisfaction of melted-Snickers fingers without actually having melted Snickers fingers.

This is trial #1 of a brand-new Smushberry clay recipe. You guys love my thick, dense and creamy clay, but an incredible number of you have asked me to make something softer. So here we are!!! 

Inside are alphabet sequins, round blocks, stumpy flower blocks and flower sequins, creating a light, crispy texture throughout the ooey, gooey clay.

The clay is also VERY sticky and loves to cling to the inside of the skin. Unfortunately, it loves to cling to everything involved in trying to glue it too, making this recipe nearly impossible to seal traditionally.

So Truffle Shuffle is a zip-tie girl, and we will not be judging her for it. 😂 The upside is that because the clay clings so well to the skin, it’s extremely difficult for air to work its way inside. In this case, the zip tie is your friend.

Density: Medium → Soft
Scent: Caramel Chocolate

⚠️ TEXTURE ADVISORY:
This squishy contains textured pieces and sequins and is made for thumb presses and controlled finger squeezing—not full-palm squeezing.

Please do not full-hand squeeze, pull, pinch, twist or dig into the skin. A full-palm squeeze can compress the sequins and textured pieces against the skin hard enough to cause a puncture.

Unlike my thick clay textures, this ooey, gooey little monster will absolutely try to escape if given the opportunity. And I cannot stress this enough: you do not want to meet Truffle Shuffle outside of her skin. 😂

If you do get a puncture, immediately place her in the freezer to firm the clay and make transferring it easier.

Someday I will have skins specifically designed for my “this could become a small household disaster if you pop it” textures. Today is not that day. 😂

And please, for the love of your upholstery, DO NOT LEAVE HER IN YOUR CAR. Heat will make this already-gooey clay considerably softer. If Truffle Shuffle explodes in a hot car, I wish you and your detailing bill the absolute best. 😭

Adding Truffle Shuffle to this drop was a very last-minute decision because so many of you asked me to PLEASE make this new softer clay available.

Adding one to your order may mean your order takes a little longer to ship, but absolutely not beyond our stated production period. We’ve actually been getting orders out much faster lately.

I’m still moving into and organizing the new studio completely by myself, our first staff member doesn’t start for another two weeks, and apparently I decided this was also an excellent time to launch an entirely new clay recipe.

So I’m making 15. That’s all I’ve got in me. 😂 ok dang it, I feel bad it sold out so fast so I just added 10 more. It’s pretty dang satisfying so I don’t want to deprive you lol
